Over 10 million people have now attended an Alpha course, which is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life, running in tens of thousands of churches of all denominations across the world.

Alpha is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, non-threatening setting over ten thought-provoking weekly sessions, with a special weekend session to cover some topics in greater depth.

It is low-key, friendly and fun – and is supported by all the main Christian denominations.

The Alpha Course consists of a series of talks addressing key issues relating to the Christian faith. Light refreshments are served at the beginning of each session which gives people a chance to get to know each other. After each talk we divide into small groups to discuss the topic of the evening, ask questions and express opinions.
